Tonight I made alfredo sauce from scratch. It was glorious! The fam loved it. I was very excited.

I have to say it was relatively easy to do. I cook all the time. I try all kinds of recipes (not from a box) all the time, and they turn out great. I don't know why I never tried it before. I think partially it's that exotic sounding names intimidate me, which is absolutely ridiculous!

I know a new recipe success is not really that big of a deal, but sometimes it is. And THIS is one of those times.

I made shrimp alfredo the other day, and it was very yummy. I had not made alfredo sauce in so long. The first time I tried it, I felt just the way you did - so delicious, and so simple.
