Many, many things have been happening at The House of Marcie, but the thought of blogging about each individually makes me want to not even try to blog at all. So here they are:
1. I think I like my hair better straight, for now at least. I'm so glad my daughter introduced me to the flat iron she got for her birthday. It's incredible how much smaller my head looks when my hair is straight.
2. T signed a contract. Yea!!! He has a job when Hell ends in June.
3. It made me sad that G & C didn't Trick-or-Treat this year. I feel like they are slipping away too quickly. (Ugh! I sound like my mother!) On the up side, I was really proud that they both chose to volunteer at Neewollah at the church, on Halloween.
4. Several times lately something someone has done has reminded me of Granny. I've cried every time. I miss her terribly.
5. My dog Katie is not doing well. She is having a very difficult time walking at all. I'm afraid to take her to the vet. I don't want him to tell me what I already know.
6. T rearranged the rooms in the house AGAIN! I can't let the man have any free time! The girls are back to sharing a room. We'll see how long that lasts.
7. I want to go on a vacation without my family. Not for long, but definitely without them. I need to track down the shop that sells sanity--it seems someone has stolen mine.
8. I believe that if I cook and serve dinner, someone else should clean it up!! I don't think that's unreasonable! ( I dare you to disagree with me.)

2. T signed a contract. Yea!!! He has a job when Hell ends in June. Good gracious, it's about time! Congratulations!

4. Several times lately something someone has done has reminded me of Granny. I've cried every time. I miss her terribly. I'm so sorry, friend. I understand. I know the holiday season has to be particularly hard for you.
5. My dog Katie is not doing well. She is having a very difficult time walking at all. I'm afraid to take her to the vet. I don't want him to tell me what I already know. Again, I'm sorry...
6. T rearranged the rooms in the house AGAIN! I can't let the man have any free time! The girls are back to sharing a room. We'll see how long that lasts. What is up with that man? Oh, and if the girls weren't sharing a room for a while, where did you have them?
7. I want to go on a vacation without my family. Not for long, but definitely without them. I need to track down the shop that sells sanity--it seems someone has stolen mine. My house is your house, anytime -- with or without your family. :)
8. I believe that if I cook and serve dinner, someone else should clean it up!! I don't think that's unreasonable! ( I dare you to disagree with me.) I agree with you completely, and not because you're forcing me to. I thought I'd gotten the message through to James, as he did post-dinner dishes for a while, but now he's back to slacking off. Guess it's time to stop cooking dinner again. :)
-I also love your hair straight and I don't think your head was big to begin with! lol
-I didn't know they didn't TorT this year.... I'm afraid this was the last year for Le so I'll be there next year
-Poor Katie dog - I'm thinking of her and you
-You know, yesterday I was just thinking of all the different ways your rooms have been reassigned. Too funny.
-I completely agree! Just this morning I looked at my kitchen and thought...why do I clean my kitchen everyday just to clean it again the next day. We are starting a new rule in my house - NEVER, EVER does ANYONE leave the kitchen after dinner until it's clean. (except me!)
it must be random thought week in tulsa :o)
Mandi-
We moved the desk into the livingroom and moved C into the old office. that of course made the lr a bit cramped but we had way fewer fights! It was much more peaceful.
I don't understand what gets into him!!! He drives me crazy sometimes!
phyllis renee-
it was your blog that inspired me. I put this ridiculous pressure on myself sometimes that I have to write an entire long blog about anything I want to say. It's ridiculous! i read your blog and realized that, duh!, I can say a few things about whatever I want w/o writing an entire blog about every single thing. Thanks!
