I'm Marcie. I've been married to Tobey since September 1995, and we have 3 beautiful children: son G, daughter C, and daughter J.
I live in the middle of America in a neighborhood much like any across the United States. I graduated from Northeastern State University in 2005--exactly 10 years after graduating high school, with a BA in English. I began work on my Masters, but sadly, my studies collided with my husband's first year of residency, and I was left in a holding pattern.
My husband is a third year resident and my life mainly consists of holding it together until... until what, I'm not sure. I'm sort of floating along, not sure of my place in the universe.
If you want to know more about me, read " About MJ."
How I Wish to be Remembered
"This is what I have done, what I have thought, what I was. I have told the good and bad with equal frankness. I have neither omitted anything bad, nor interpoled anything good...I have shown myself as I was: mean and contemptible, good, high-minded and sublime, according as it was one with the other. I have unveiled my inmost being even as Thou hast seen it, O Eternal Being."

Smart Potato
Conversation with my daughter 10 minutes ago:
C: Mom, this potato soup is very potato-y!
Short pause as I stare at her in disbelief.
Me: Well that's good because I sure hate it when it's too sqaush-y.
Hi Marcie! I love it when kids say things like this. I wish there had been blogging when my kids were little so I could've saved those kind of moments. I should've written them down in a book or something, but for some reason I didn't.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
